IIDA Rochester City Center: ROCommunity Design Charrette

You are invited to join the IIDA NY Rochester City Center for the first annual ROCommunity Design Charette – a fast paced, collaborative session where attendees discuss and sketch designs to explore a diverse set of ideas to achieve a shared outcome.

In recent years, community members have worked to revitalize the architectural, cultural and historic landscape of the City of Rochester. Vacant or underutilized properties are being reclaimed and adapted for new uses in order to draw populations back to the city center and support its potential as a thriving center of living and commerce.

The presence of a vibrant public transportation system is integral to the successes of these efforts for many community members as they are required to stretch outside of the city boundaries to seek essential services. However, little has been done to address the transportation shelter experience. Join us in this virtual design session to reimagine the city bus shelter!
