IIDA NY 2022 Leaders Breakfast event is one of the largest events of the year for our NY design community. This year’s in-person program will engage participants from across our New York Chapter; including City Center members, students and young professionals. Join us for networking with industry colleagues, a celebration of design excellence and our 2022 honoree, as well as a thought-provoking presentation by our A-list keynote speaker.

Leyla Acaroglu Biography:

Sustainability provocateur and cultural protagonist Dr. Leyla Acaroglu challenges people to think differently about how the world works. She connects systems, sustainability and design together as tools for addressing the planet’s biggest challenges. As a designer and sociologist, she was named 2016 United Nations Champion of the Earth for her in advancing science and innovation for sustainability. She is a mainstage TED speaker, entrepreneur, creator of the Disruptive Design Method, and founder of the UnSchool of Disruptive Design.
